Hello, fellow travel enthusiasts! If you're dreaming of an exciting Vegas getaway, you're in the right place. Let me take you on a journey through my recent adventure to Las Vegas, where every moment was filled with excitement, delightful culinary experiences, and awe-inspiring sights. Oh, and did I mention it was also wonderfully relaxing? So, fasten your seatbelts and join me as we explore the vibrant city of Las Vegas!

A Luxurious Stay at MGM Grand
My Vegas escapade began with a luxurious stay at the MGM Grand, where we were comped a lovely Grand Tower King Room. The experience was further enhanced when we matched our Royal Caribbean Diamond status to Gold MGM loyalty status, unlocking exclusive perks like access to the Gold Lounge, free parking, and waived resort fees. Vegas freebies? Count me in!
Seamlessly Exploring the Strip
Getting around was a breeze thanks to the reliable Las Vegas Monorail, which conveniently transported us from MGM Grand to the Venetian daily for the Signature conference. If you're planning a Vegas trip, I highly recommend the Monorail—it's worth every penny and makes commuting on the Strip a breeze.

Indulgent Eats & Decadent Treats
What's a Vegas trip without some tantalizing eats? We started with Secret Pizza for lunch—the white pizza here is truly to die for. Then, we indulged in a mouthwatering burger and a crazy shake at Black Tap in the Venetian. Over at the Wynn Buffet, we savored a delightful seafood spread.
Our anniversary dinner was a magical evening at Oscar’s Steakhouse. My husband Chris enjoyed a perfect Filet Mignon while I was delighted by a Ribeye steak Oscar style, complete with lump crab. We shared mashed potatoes on the side, creating a memorable feast for our special night.
To top off our culinary adventures, we couldn't resist grabbing a half dozen donuts from Pink Box Donuts at the Plaza Hotel—irresistibly good!
Unforgettable Vegas Nights
Our evenings were equally enchanting, with visits to Fremont Street for entertaining street performers and the captivating light show. A photo opportunity in front of the epic $1,000,000 display at Binion's was a must, and we tried our luck at the slots at Circa.
Exploration & Awe-Inspiring Sights
The stunning visual appeal of Vegas extended beyond just the dining and nightlife. We marveled at the Sphere, explored the Link Promenade and Caesar’s Forum Shops, and immersed ourselves in the artistry of the spiral floral carousel at Wynn, followed by the Lake of Dreams show. At the Bellagio Hotel, although the famous fountains were closed due to the upcoming Formula 1 race, we were enthralled by the Chihuly glass display and the transformative beauty of the Conservatory's seasonal changeover.
Recommendations for Future Adventures
While our trip was jam-packed with incredible experiences, there’s always more to see in Vegas! If you plan a trip, consider a day trip to the breathtaking West Rim of the Grand Canyon, explore the natural beauty of Red Rocks, or visit the magnificent Hoover Dam.
And when it comes to food, don’t miss indulging at Nacho Daddy for nachos and delicious margaritas, Norah’s Italian for delectable pasta, Mon Ami Gabi’s amazing breakfast (the corned beef hash is divine!), or the vibrant atmosphere at Nine Fine Irishmen at New York, New York.
