Pre-Cruise Suggestions

  • Check-In Process:

- Check-in opens 45 days before your cruise via the Royal Caribbean app, typically at midnight. Set a reminder to check in as soon as it opens to secure an early boarding time. This allows you to smoothly transition from your hotel to the ship without unnecessary waiting.

  • Entertainment Reservations:

- Book entertainment early as 45 days before the cruise to ensure you see all the shows you want. Be sure to catch the Aqua Show, Ice Show, Love and Marriage Game Show, and any other performances on board.

  • Specialty Coffee Card:

- Purchase a coffee card pre-cruise from the Cruise Planner for about $30, providing 15 specialty coffee drinks. You can use these on future cruises too if not fully used.

  • Beverage and Internet Packages:

- Buy these pre-cruise to enjoy lower rates than those available onboard.

  • Health Questionnaire:

- Complete the mandatory health questionnaire 24 hours before cruising to ensure a smooth boarding experience.

Embarkation Day Tips

  • First Steps on Board:

- Head to the top deck to sign the waivers for activities like the Rockwall, Zip Line, and Flow Rider. Enroll your children in the kids' clubs for their respective age groups to ensure they can make friends and enjoy the facilities throughout the cruise.

  • Dining Reservations:

- If specialty dining bookings weren't available prior, handle them as soon as you board for preferred times.

  • Lunchtime at Central Park:

- Escape the crowd at the buffet and enjoy a quiet meal at Central Park Café, savoring their esteemed Kimmelweck sandwich.

  • Packing for the Day:

- Carry a backpack with swimsuits allowing you to enjoy the cantilevered hot tubs. Celebrate sail away in these less crowded spots with a refreshing beverage.

Onboard Dining and Activities

  • Breakfast Choices:

- Skip the lines at the Windjammer and eat breakfast at the Solarium Buffet. Enjoy cooked-to-order breakfast at Johnny Rockets or grab something quick at Café Promenade or Park Café. For a leisurely morning, order a complimentary continental breakfast to your room and savor it on your balcony.

  • Specialty Dining:

- Treat yourself at the BBQ restaurant on Oasis of the Seas for a taste of exceptional barbecue. Take advantage of Johnny Rockets for a fixed-rate, all-you-can-eat experience, including free milkshakes for Crown and Anchor members.

  • Complimentary Lunch Options:

- Delight in meals at El Loco Fresh, the hot dog cart, Sorrento's Pizza, and more. These provide a range of flavors without additional cost. - Dress up for dinner in the Main Dining Room, but explore themed nights at the Windjammer too.

  • Lobster Night:

- Experience the classic Lobster Night during your cruise's second formal night, which now offers one complimentary lobster tail per guest.

Sea Day Routine

  • Morning Routine:

- Embrace early mornings on sea days with a light breakfast in your room, heading to the cantilevered hot tubs for some serene relaxation. Enjoy the quiet before they get crowded, typically around 10 or 11 am. - Bask in the sun before lunch and explore other exciting ship activities throughout the day.

If you have enjoyed your Oasis class cruise I would recommend visiting the Next Cruise desk while on board even if you don't know where you want to go yet. This typically allows you to place a lower deposit on your next cruise and possibly receive some onboard credit. This can then be transferred to me as your Travel advisor and I will handle the rest.
